Combining their love for art and design, this mother/daughter team found a niche in the world of stationery design. They have created a refreshing line of greeting cards and now creative wine cards that speak to today’s wine and spirits enthusiasts. With emphasis on fun and wit, their Bottle Captions wine cards range from whimsical to refined. The cards are meant to promote a positive perspective and to inspire the sharing of life’s special occasions as well as its simple moments.
Laura’s career as an ASID certified interior designer specialized in designing casually elegant beach homes from Hawaii to Martha’s Vineyard. She got her start working for the prestigious Saddleback Interiors in Corona del Mar designing model homes. She was also the lead floral designer in the family’s commercial orchid nursery, South Coast Orchids. Born and raised in Southern California, she earned her Art degree from SDSU. She lives in Carlsbad with her husband and dog, Lucky.
Alyson works in the hotel industry as a sales manager on Shelter Island in San Diego. She earned her degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from SDSU and has worked for several prominent San Diego hotels. Working with her mother in the wine card business has allowed her to express her fun, creative side. Raised in the beach city of Carlsbad, she currently lives in San Diego with her dog, Falco and her cat, Lucy.
